Tour De Boise Map

An interactive map for a one-of-a-kind biking adventure around Boise — each stop featuring snacks, drinks, and a game.

Overview

The Tour De Boise was a self-organized cycling event with friends, routing through Boise with themed stops along the way. The map needed to show the full route, highlight each stop, and be easy to pull up on a phone mid-ride.

Built on Mapbox

The map uses three Mapbox APIs: Search for geocoding the stops, Routes for plotting the cycling path, and Mapbox GL JS for rendering everything in the browser. The result is a smooth, interactive map that feels native to the city.
