Creative Consultancy

I love working with creatives. Spend enough time trading ideas with graphic designers, film majors, and crafters and you notice they don't really believe in limits. Almost. Web design is the one place I keep watching them hit a wall.

The Adobe Suite lets them make nearly anything they can picture. The web has no real equivalent. And yes, I know what you're about to say: what about Wix or Squarespace? They'll get you a website. But the moment you try to step outside the template, you're fighting the builder, and the site that looked perfect on your laptop falls apart on a phone.

Coding agents changed that. Suddenly the ceiling was gone. But a new problem showed up right behind it: how do you build something that doesn't look like AI slop?

Zoe Mogavero's portfolio

Working with Zoe Mogavero and Bella Murrillo, the answer turned out to be simple. Let the designer make every decision. I helped stand up the first versions of their sites, but they chose every font, every color, every corner radius. My job was to translate their vision into the web's vocabulary: talking through when a carousel shows off a body of work better than a grid, how buttons and pagination should feel, and where a scroll animation adds life instead of distraction. The agent did the building; they did the designing. The result is a website they can keep shaping just by asking, one that brings their work to life and looks like theirs, not like it came out of a prompt.
